The Comet Bicycle

Advertisement for The Comet Bicycle sold by F. de. C. Davies. Appeared in the Guardian, 30 March 1895, page 2.

This bicycle ad, "The Comet," was in the Guardian on the 30th of March, 1895. The Comet cost a lot more money at the time than most of the bicycles I have in my etexts. I have an etext that shows a bike that was $85 dollars, which is pretty close to the $100 the bike in this picture cost.

This bike was named "The Comet," probably because it went really fast, and it is a good name.
