Wesley S. Turner's Diary Description
Submitted by bstewart on Mon, 06/02/2008 - 16:44.
The cover of this school workbook reads "Pen Work Book" at the top, with "Prince Edward Island" and the motto "Stick it to the Farm" below that.
A black and white picture of a cow is in the middle of the image, with the further motto "Keep Good Cows and They'll Keep You" printed below it, and the additional words "School Supply" and "Price Five Cents."
The workbook has been embellished by its owner, who has written "Diary 1916 W.S.T" across the top in block letters, and the words "No. 1" and "#1" elsewhere. Identifying information about Wesley Turner and the dates "Jan. 1 to June 1, 1916" are written across the bottom.
