School Licence by the Board of Education of Prince Edward Island

Let it be known that Lucy Marchbank has been duly certified to us in conformity with the provisions of Section 85 of the Education Act, as a person of good moral character, has undergone examination by the Examiners for this Province appointed in this behalf, and we deem that she has satisfactorily proved herself to possess in the required degree a knowledge of the several subjects prescribed for examination of Teachers of the First Class.

Wherefore, by virtue of the power in us vested by Section 3 of the “Public Schools Act, 1877,” we do issue our Licence to her as a legally qualified Public School Teacher of the First Class, which Licence, until revoked, shall be valid throughout the Province of Prince Edward Island.

In Testimony whereof we have set our Seal and Signature hereunto, at Charlottetown, this 25^th day of July in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred being the Sixty Fourth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria.
