Horse and Delivery Wagon

This picture was taken near a cemetery in 1910, by one of the Prowse Brothers. The words on the wagon say "Dry Goods and Clothing". The wagon was used for shipping dry goods and clothing. In the wagon, they would carry dry goods like clothing, including sweaters and work pants. The back wheels are always bigger then the front wheels. When they stopped, that kept the buggy steady so that it wouldn't tip. It would take up to a couple of hours or days to get the buggy to the general stores, because it was pulled by horses, and they weren't as fast as the cars we have now.
