Herb Juice

In the 1900s, manufacturers of remedies said that some medicines cured medical conditions that they didn't actually cure. One type of medicine that said it cured more then it really did was herb juice. Herb juice cured "indigestion, stomach and digestive organs and assisted in the perfect assimilation of food thereby aiding the manufacture of pure, rich blood and eliminating impurities from the general system." It also cured constipation, gas on the stomach, nervousness, headache, dizziness, foul breath, coated tongue, weakness, bad complexion, nausea, and spots before the eyes. It cost $1.00. It was mainly made out of alcohol and it looks like an alcohol bottle does today. You could buy it at general stores.
