An eye washer was a tool used in the 1900's to administer medicine or liquid into your eye in a simple way, to help make sure that the medicine would stay in one area of the eye and wouldn't spill. To administer the liquid, you would put the eye washer up to your eye and tilt your head back. An eye washer was shaped like a measuring cup that fits the eye.
