Horses Working
Submitted by jenn M on Fri, 01/11/2008 - 14:03.
This picture shows young men using horses to lift hay with a rope and pulley, circa 1890. The people are working to put hay in the barn. The two horses are waiting to get going.
Hay is used to feed horses, so it was important to have lots of it.
