The Military Parade
Submitted by KaylaN on Sun, 10/28/2007 - 23:24.
This picture is of a military parade. The parade took place in Charlottetown, PEI. The soldiers rode on horses and had horse carriages. Only two horses are in front and the rest are horses and carriages. This picture was taken in 1900.
Sometimes in the parades we have downtown, you see one horse in front of two horses beside it, like follow the leader.
The Military were to protect Prince Edward Island and sometimes defend Canada in wars.
