The Comet

Advertisement for The Comet Bicycle sold by F. de. C. Davies. Appeared in the Guardian, 30 March 1895, page 2.

This is an advertisement of a bicycle from a long time ago. The ad came from the local P.E.I Guardian. (That is the newspaper here.)

The time period of the picture is 1880 to the 1900's. The bike is called "The Comet," probably because you can go fast on it and to make people more interested so the company can make more money.

Bikes usually cost between 45-150$ per bike. The price was high for the time, but a lot of boys had them. The date that day was 30 March 1895.
