Train Between O'Leary and Summerside

This is a train going between O'Leary and Summerside. The purpose of this train was to deliver food and supplies. It was used in the 1890's. The train was used when a city or town needed some supplies for a month or a couple of weeks. The government would buy one for the Island. The government owned the trains. This one was made in a factory near Halifax.

This train was meant to deliver supplies faster than the other trains. In this picture, this train is made for snow and hills. When these trains started their engines, a big cloud of smoke would rise in the air. This train would also take people to other places
