In November 2007, Dylan interviewed his grandparents, Marie and Tom Cobb, about life when they were growing up in Prince Edward Island.

The general store would have several money bowls on the counter. Each money bowl was square and had a hole in it about 2 inches deep. They were black and sometimes blue, and were made of wood.

This is a list of the growth of the Island's first bank between the years 1858 and 1881. The people must have been happy when the dividend (what they got back) numbers got higher! I know I would!

This is a 5 dollar bill from the Bank of Prince Edward Island. Some of the pictures we see on it are an anchor, some animals, and a man on a horse. There are 2 large number 5's in each of the top corners.

The prices back in the early 1900's were not like today.
