Etexts and Blogging

Etexts and Blogging:

This video takes the viewer more deeply into the process of creating the e-text, the ultimate repository of the students’ research. In their own words, students explain what blogging involves; from selecting photos at the archives, to having those photos digitized and uploaded, to writing and editing articles based on their research and posting the articles online. Students describe the uniqueness of blog organization, including the links and other navigational elements that distinguish an e-text from a traditional textbook. Andrea McKenzie and Dave Cormier stress the significance of the students’ contribution to future learning.
